Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! You will be delivering a variety of spa treatments to hotel guests, including massages, facials, body treatments, and other wellness services. You will assess guest needs and tailor treatments to ensure each guest leaves feeling relaxed, revitalized, and satisfied. As a Senior Spa Therapist, you’re not just providing professional massages and body treatments – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Senior Spa Therapist plays a key leadership role within the spa, delivering spa treatments while guiding and mentoring therapist team to uphold exceptional service standards. Senior Spa Therapist ensures smooth daily operations, maintain strict hygiene and safety practices, support training and development, and enhance the guest experience through expert consultation, professional service, and a deep commitment to wellness.
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
- Lead and mentor the spa therapist team, ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional service standards and professional conduct
- Perform a full range of spa treatments, including body therapies, advanced facial treatments, massages, and holistic wellness services, according to brand and safety protocols
- Ensure strict adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards, maintaining a clean, organized, and well‑presented treatment environment at all times
- Monitor daily spa operations, ensuring smooth workflow, timely service delivery, and readiness of supplies, equipment, and treatment rooms
- Provide expert consultation and personalized home‑care recommendations to enhance treatment results and support guest wellness goals
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records, including treatment notes, preferences, and contraindications
- Collaborate with cross‑functional spa teams, including reception, retail, and management, to improve service offerings and enhance guest satisfaction
- Carry out and assist in staff training and skill development, ensuring therapists remain updated on new treatments, protocols, and product knowledge
- Support product inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, and reporting low‑stock items to management
- Handle guest feedback professionally, managing service recovery and ensuring concerns are addressed promptly and effectively
- Promote spa services and retail products, contributing to revenue growth through upselling and cross‑selling initiatives
- Participate in spa marketing activities, demonstrations, promotions, and VIP and media/press events when required
- Monitor equipment functionality and report maintenance or repair needs to ensure safe and optimal operation
- Uphold and reinforce brand standards, ensuring consistency in guest experience and therapist performance
- Assist in scheduling and workload coordination, ensuring adequate therapist coverage and smooth flow of daily spa operations.
- Supports spa reception operations and guest experience duties when required.

In addition, this role requires the following minimum qualifications:
- Certification in massage therapy, aesthetics, or other relevant spa treatments from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience as a spa therapist, preferably in a luxury or hotel setting.
- Strong understanding of different massage techniques, body treatments, and facials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-focused approach.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
