As a WHO Sales Manager, you’re not just driving revenue through wholesale distribution channels – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by building strong partnerships with tour operators, wholesalers, and travel intermediaries, and delivering memorable experiences for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
• Develop and manage wholesale business: Identify, prospect, and convert opportunities with tour operators, wholesalers, bed banks, and travel intermediaries to drive room revenue and maximize production.
• Build and maintain partner relationships: Serve as the primary contact for assigned wholesale accounts, strengthening existing partnerships and developing new relationships to grow market share and profitability.
• Execute strategic sales initiatives: Analyze market trends, distribution performance, and competitor activity to design and implement sales strategies that optimize demand and achieve revenue targets.
• Manage the full sales cycle: Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, define allotments and rates, and secure agreements that align with hotel strategy and maximize revenue potential.
• Oversee account and booking management: Ensure accurate loading and maintenance of rates, inventory, and contracts in sales systems, while coordinating partner requirements and ensuring seamless execution.
• Collaborate across departments: Work closely with Revenue Management, Distribution, Reservations, and Operations teams to align inventory, pricing, and strategy for optimal wholesale performance.
