The Role

Join our dynamic team as a Cloud Business Architect Lead and become an integral part of our cutting-edge Go-To-Market organisation. As a certified expert in Cloud technologies, you will be at the forefront of revolutionising enterprise technology solutions for our valued customers. Working hand in hand with Kyndryl Consult Partners and customer stakeholders, you will leverage your deep technical and solution expertise to drive strategic opportunities, develop differentiated value propositions, and exceed customer expectations. 

In this role, you won’t just be another advisor, you’ll be a trusted ally and visionary, delivering unique, Cloud-based solutions that transform our customers’ businesses. Through engaging demonstrations, compelling presentations, and innovative prototypes, you will showcase Kyndryl’s technical eminence and leave a lasting impression on our customers and partners. 

As a vital member of our team, you will support Consulting, Advisory, and Architecture activities across Sales, Pre-Sales, and Delivery, collaborating closely with Customer Partners and Kyndryl Consult Partners. Your deep domain expertise in Cloud platforms, including Private cloud, Public Cloud, Hybrid Cloud and Sovereign cloud. You will also need deep expertise in, migration, managed service, reporting. Platform design, IaaS, PaaS  and Devops, will enable you to design and articulate comprehensive, cross-practice solutions that address complex enterprise challenges and drive profitable deals. 

Your dedication to continuous improvement and your passion for Cloud technologies will shine through as you demonstrate end-to-end knowledge of the Cloud ecosystem and its alignment with Kyndryl’s broader capabilities. Your external certifications and technical mastery will establish you as a true authority and thought leader in your field. 

As a Cloud Business Architect, you will combine strong technical and business acumen to deliver value-driven solutions within the Cloud services domain. Your exceptional customer-facing skills, articulate communication style, and interpersonal finesse will enable you to clearly convey the strategic and technical benefits of Kyndryl’s Cloud solutions, aligning them perfectly to each customer’s unique needs. 

As a strategic thinker, you will identify and analyse intricate business and technical requirements, orchestrating Kyndryl’s full capabilities to generate winning cross-practice solutions. Your ability to develop and deliver compelling demonstrations, proofs of concept, and prototypes will vividly demonstrate the tangible value of our offerings—leaving customers confident in their partnership with Kyndryl. 

In addition to your technical expertise, you will take the lead in coordinating the entire pre-sales process, ensuring quality, compliance, and adherence to Kyndryl’s best practices. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to craft winning responses and optimal technical solutions. Moreover, you will actively build and nurture relationships with Cloud alliance teams, Hyperscalers and ecosystem partners, fostering joint innovation and co-created solutions.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead customer-facing engagements to identify business and technical requirements, shaping tailored cloud based solutions 

  • Deliver high-impact demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and prototypes that articulate the value of Kyndryl’s Cloud capabilities 

  • Collaborate with internal teams and alliance partners to co-create joint solutions and drive go-to-market plays 

  • Support pre-sales activities including solution design, compliance verification, and proposal development 

  • Align with Clouds sales and partner engagement structures to drive joint opportunities 

  • Represent Kyndryl at Cloud events and forums, reinforcing our credibility and strategic alignment

Required Skills and Experience 

  • Deep domain knowledge across Cloud services: Private cloud, Public Cloud, Hybrid Cloud and Sovereign cloud. 

  • Proven experience translating Cloud capabilities into industry-relevant customer propositions 

  • Strong consultative selling background in complex enterprise environments 

  • Demonstrated success in developing go-to-market plays with Cloud solutions 

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence both C-level executives and technical teams 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Cloud-focused solution sales, consulting, or architecture roles
