The engineer will support customer system integration testing, product validation, issue analysis, and test process improvement to help ensure WD products meet or exceed customer expectations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop, maintain, and improve test infrastructure and test methods for new products and technologies.Execute product validation activities throughout the product lifecycle, including development and quality validation phases.Maintain accurate test tracking information, including test status, progress updates, and target completion dates.Support failure analysis for qualification issues and field issues related to customer system environments.Collect, analyze, and summarize test data, and report issues, risks, and concerns to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner.Work closely with cross-functional teams to share learnings, testing methods, and best practices.Support continuous improvement of customer system validation processes, test efficiency, and product quality.QualificationsBachelor’s degree or above in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics Engineering, Automation, Communication Engineering, or a related technical field.0–2 years of relevant experience in system testing, server testing, hardware testing, storage product testing, or related areas is preferred.Basic understanding of computer systems, servers, storage products, or customer system environments.Familiarity with SATA/SAS protocols, storage interface technologies, HDD products, storage product validation, or customer qualification processes is a plus.Basic scripting skills in Shell, Python, or other scripting languages for test support, data analysis, or automation tasks.Project, internship, or work experience related to electronics, computer systems, servers, storage products, hardware testing, system integration testing, reliability testing, automation testing, or failure analysis is preferred.Good analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze issues logically and summarize findings clearly.Detail-oriented and data-driven mindset, with strong ownership, accountability, and organizational skills.Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.Interest in HDD products, storage technologies, quality validation, and customer system integration testing, with strong learning agility and willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and test methodologies.Additional InformationWD is committed to providing equal opportunities to all applicants and employees and will not discriminate against any applicant or employee based on their race, color, ancestry, religion (including religious dress and grooming standards), sex (including...
