Accountabilities:

    The Sr. Business Process Consultant will be responsible for evaluating, documenting, and improving organizational processes while supporting the implementation of technology solutions. This role requires strong collaboration skills, attention to detail, and the ability to identify opportunities for operational efficiency and standardization.

    • Research, analyze, and resolve complex business process challenges to support program objectives and organizational goals.
    • Evaluate existing workflows and document end-to-end business processes to identify improvement opportunities.
    • Translate stakeholder needs into detailed business requirements and collaborate with technology teams on automation and solution development.
    • Develop and implement process improvement strategies aligned with project goals, requirements, and defined statements of work.
    • Create and maintain process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, and supporting documentation to promote consistency and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful adoption and implementation of process enhancements.
    • Monitor the effectiveness of process improvements and provide reporting and recommendations to stakeholders.
    • Communicate process updates, changes, and best practices clearly to business users and project teams.
    • Provide training and ongoing support to users impacted by new processes, tools, and procedures.
    • Support workflow optimization initiatives involving platforms such as SharePoint, PowerApps, and other technical solutions.
    • Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support project success.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is an experienced business process professional with a strong background in analysis, process improvement, and technology-enabled transformation. You should be comfortable working with diverse stakeholders, documenting complex requirements, and supporting projects within structured environments.

      • 8+ years of experience in business process analysis, business improvement, or related fields.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate complex issues and develop practical solutions.
      • Experience applying agile methodologies and working within collaborative project environments.
      • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to create clear documentation and collaborate with stakeholders.
      • Proficiency with process mapping, workflow analysis, and documentation tools.
      • Experience supporting government or public sector programs is preferred.
      • Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint and PowerApps frameworks is highly desirable.
      • Familiarity with government project frameworks such as Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) is preferred.
      • Experience using predictive analytics tools to support process improvement and decision-making is a plus.
      • Ability to successfully complete required federal background screening and obtain and maintain necessary government clearance.
      • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employer sponsorship.
      • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, computer science, information technology, or a related field required.
