Position is Contingent on Award of Contract.
Job Summary:
The Operations Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing IT operations supporting Federal Government programs. The successful candidate will provide operational leadership, ensure compliance with ITSM best practices, coordinate cross-functional teams, manage resources, and maintain high levels of system availability, performance, and customer satisfaction. Experience supporting DoD customers and operating within secure, mission-critical environments is highly desirable.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead daily IT operations in support of Federal Government programs.
- Implement and enforce ITSM processes and industry best practices.
- Manage operational performance, staffing, schedules, and resources.
- Coordinate with Government stakeholders to ensure mission success.
- Monitor service delivery, identify operational risks, and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain operational procedures, metrics, and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Government policies, security requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to technical and operational personnel.
- Support continuous process improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen. Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance (minimum requirement).
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in IT operations utilizing IT Service Management (ITSM) best practices within the Federal Government.
- Preference for experience supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience serving in a senior IT management role supporting Federal Government operations.
Work Location: On-site support.
Compensation: $80,040 - $119,945. The salary range posted is for Washington, DC. The offered rate will be based on contract affordability, the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience, and in consideration of internal parity.
Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
