Software Engineer — Model & Partnerships Management (Agentic Builders Experience team)
The Opportunity
Adobe Unified Platform is changing how software gets made at Adobe. It reads builders' intent, breaks down complex work, runs it through autonomous agents, and improves every cycle. What this team ships reaches thousands of engineers. It's the foundation the rest of Adobe's agentic work is built on!
The platform is model-independent by design. It has to integrate a constantly changing set of models and partner capabilities cleanly and reliably. We're hiring a Software Engineer to build the integration layer that makes this work: the connectors, abstractions, and evaluation tooling. This is a hands-on role for a skilled mid-level engineer who wants to work close to frontier models.
What you'll do
- Build and maintain integrations to model providers and partner services.
- Write API clients, routing, fallback logic, and abstraction layers.
- Own the test plan for the features you deliver.
- Debug issues across multiple modules and layers.
- Build tooling that measures model quality, latency, cost, and reliability.
- Build dashboards that show how models and partners perform in production.
- Apply DevOps and secure programming practices.
- Use AI-assisted development tools and review the output you ship.
- Harden integrations against real-world failures.
- Share knowledge with peers and mentor junior engineers.
What you'll need to succeed
- 5+ years of software engineering.
- Production code across multiple domains in Python, Go, or Java.
- Hands-on experience building API integrations and backend services.
- Ability to debug across modules and layers.
- Working experience with LLM APIs, AI/ML systems, or agentic frameworks.
- Ability to master new concepts quickly.
- Solid fundamentals: testing, observability, DevOps, secure programming.
- Ownership of feature-level test plans.
- Proficiency in AI-assisted development.
- A self-directed style and a practical eye for reliability.
