Senior Investment Compliance Analyst, Associate 2
Purpose Of Role:
A successful specialist will be responsible for implementing compliance restrictions on mutual funds related to Regulatory and Investment Manager (IM) mandates utilizing compliance platform. This will include coding and updating automated tests in the system. A qualified candidate will communicate directly with the client service teams to set up portfolios with their investment restrictions.
Specific Duties:
Technical Competencies:
- Build rules utilizing compliance engine, validate data sets, and discuss with manager
- Monitoring fund activity in terms of regulations on the automated compliance monitoring system
- Identify, investigate and document violations based on the system, provided documents and third-party tools
- Maintain detailed documentation on clients and their contracts/investment guidelines
- Confirm the accuracy of fund data from internal and external sources, and perform maintenance in internal databases
- Assist in the improvement of the rule coding, identify errors in the software and propose modifications
- Make recommendations for changes to processes and procedures and prepare proper documentation
- Liaise with other internal clients and supporting departments for the purpose of obtaining key inputs to service delivery, resolving errors and discrepancies
- Keep team Supervisor informed of issues; Ensure the issues log is updated and track progress

- Internal State Street Poland procedures & regulations
- Various Regulations – required for understanding of funds’ investment compliance requirements
Qualifications/Skills:
- Very good numeracy and literacy skills
- Excellent computer skills including knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and database applications
- Ability to establish and maintain professional contacts and relationships within the company
- A thorough understanding of departmental compliance platform is required
- Knowledge of investment compliance frameworks and UCITS/AIFMD requirements supporting investment guideline implementation and monitoring
- Accuracy and ability to work with deadlines
- Knowledge of VBA would be an advantage
- Proficiency with investment compliance monitoring system
- Strong understanding of SQL query language
- Very good knowledge of English
- Experience utilizing Bloomberg would be an asset
- Ability to prioritize, pay attention to details and understand customer requirements

Level Of education:
Accountancy/Law or Business/ IT related degree (preferred)
Previous level of experience:
- 2+ years of experience preferably in investment compliance or SQL/IT related function,
- Previous experience with any coding language,
- Previous experience with coding in CRIMS would be an asset.
Note: This role requires hybrid mode - minimum 3 days/week work in office.
Minimum Salary:
zł68,004 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
