LMW, on behalf of its client, a leading international technology and digital transformation consulting company, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineerto join a strategic project within the banking sector. This is an excellent opportunity to work on enterprise-grade platforms that support mission-critical banking services, collaborating with highly skilled engineering teams in a modern DevOps environment.

You'll play a key role in designing, automating, and optimizing deployment processes while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment processes using Ansible.
  • Develop and maintain Jenkins pipelines using Groovy.
  • Deploy, manage, and optimize containerized applications on OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms.
  • Configure and support Istio service mesh for secure, scalable, and resilient microservices communication.
  • Manage database schema versioning and deployment using Liquibase.
  • Collaborate closely with development, infrastructure, and security teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement continuous improvements.
  • Promote DevOps best practices, automation, and infrastructure reliability across the project.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or a similar role.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Ansible for automation and configuration management.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining Jenkins pipelines using Groovy.
  • Solid expertise with OpenShift and/or Kubernetes container orchestration platforms.
  • Experience implementing or supporting Istio service mesh.
  • Hands-on experience with Liquibase for database change management.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, infrastructure automation, and release management.
  • Experience working in Linux-based environments.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.
