MILITARY PAY OPERATIONS CHIEF

About the Position: Serves as the Chief of Military Pay Operations for the U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC), The Adjutant General Directorate, Military Pay Division, Fort Knox, KY. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure MILPAY operations comply with DoD and Treasury regulations. Advise on work accomplishments and administrative information related to HRC, TAGD, MILPAY operations. Govern the development, integration, and implementation of current and future military pay capabilities within Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A). Develop performance metrics and monitor progress toward strategic objectives. Participate in senior level committees, conferences, meetings, and working groups. Coordinate with DFAS, Treasury, and other stakeholders to resolve cross-agency issues. Supervise the assigned organization which consists of increasing numbers of professional administrative and financial management personnel. Evaluate the impact of legislative, policy, or procedural changes.
