Senior Business Analyst
Job Profile Summary
We are seeking a Business Analyst (Data & Analytics) with 6 years of experience working on data-focused initiatives, data products, analytics platforms, and modern data transformation projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with business stakeholders, Product Managers, Data Engineers, Data Architects, and development teams to gather, analyze, and document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
This role is not responsible for performing hands-on data analysis or data engineering activities. Instead, the focus is on business analysis, stakeholder engagement, requirements elicitation, process improvement, and supporting the delivery of data-driven products and solutions.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in environments leveraging Snowflake, cloud-based data platforms, reporting and analytics solutions, APIs, and modern data architectures, while serving as the bridge between business and technical teams.
Experience
- 6 years of Business Analyst experience.
- Experience delivering requirements for Data & Analytics, Data Platform, Data Product, or Digital Transformation projects.
- Proven experience gathering and documenting business requirements and translating them into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Experience working closely with Product Managers, Data Engineers, Data Architects, and Analytics teams.
- Experience supporting projects involving Snowflake, cloud data platforms, data warehouses, or modern data ecosystems.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and product delivery frameworks.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Data & Analytics domains.
- Understanding of modern data architectures and data platforms.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, Azure Data Platform, AWS Data Services, Databricks, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of data integration, APIs, and reporting solutions.
- Experience supporting data products and enterprise reporting initiatives.
