Cohesity is hiring a Technical Sales Engineering Manager to lead the Hong Kong and Taiwan market for the company's AI-powered data security platform. The role combines individual technical selling (managing strategic customer engagements in HK and Taiwan) with team leadership, managing four Technical Sales Engineers and serving as the primary technical enablement resource for the broader China region. Key responsibilities include leading complex proof-of-concepts, coaching and developing your team, owning product escalations, and capturing customer feedback to inform product roadmaps. You'll need 6–10 years in enterprise technology pre-sales with at least 2 years in a team lead or management role, deep technical expertise in data security or backup solutions, strong coaching and enablement skills, and the ability to operate credibly with regional sales leaders and customer executives. Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is strongly preferred given the geographic focus. This role requires significant travel across Hong Kong, Taiwan, and mainland China to support your team and the broader technical sales community; employees in reasonable commute distance are expected in office 2-3 days weekly.
