We are seeking a passionate and committed TGT Mathematics teacher to deliver engaging, concept-based instruction for students in Grades VI–X. The ideal candidate should possess strong mathematical knowledge, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to nurture logical reasoning, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities through interactive and technology-enabled teaching practices.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Mathematics to students of Grades VI–X in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
  • Develop annual curriculum plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
  • Deliver engaging lessons using activity-based, experiential, and inquiry-driven teaching methodologies.
  • Strengthen students’ conceptual understanding and application of mathematical principles.
  • Conduct regular formative and summative assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback.
  • Identify and support students requiring academic intervention or enrichment.
  • Integrate technology, digital tools, and visual learning resources into classroom instruction.
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and academic progress.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding student performance and development.
  • Prepare students for Olympiads, mathematics competitions, and other academic enrichment programmes.
  • Participate actively in school events, interdisciplinary projects, faculty meetings, and professional development programmes.
  • Undertake additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mathematics or a related discipline from a recognized university.
  • B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in CBSE schools, preferably handling Grades VI–X.
  • Strong understanding of the CBSE Mathematics curriculum and assessment framework.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology and digital teaching platforms.
