Job Description
As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Circuit in Cypress, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Residential Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a community location, helping to support a secure environment for residents, guests, and property. This driving post involves conducting routine patrols, staying visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant details with site contacts and/or supervisors.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential property concerns.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by observing visitor activity, verifying access permissions when required, and reporting suspicious behavior.
- Support a professional residential environment by assisting with routine inquiries, reporting maintenance or security-related issues, and following Allied Universal post orders and communication protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
