As a Qualcomm Hardware Engineer, you will plan, design, optimize, verify, and test electronic systems, bring-up yield, circuits, mechanical systems, Digital/Analog/RF/optical systems, equipment and packaging, test systems, FPGA, and/or DSP systems that launch cutting-edge, world class products. Qualcomm Hardware Engineers collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions and meet performance requirements.Role Overview:We are looking for experienced engineers with strong expertise in FPGA Prototyping and Emulation to join our team at Qualcomm Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building, validating, and debugging complex SoC/IP designs using FPGA prototyping and emulation platforms.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain FPGA-based prototypes and emulation environments for SoC/IP validation.Integrate and validate high-speed and low-speed interfaces on emulation/FPGA platforms.Collaborate with design and verification teams to ensure functional correctness and performance.Debug hardware/software issues and provide timely solutions.Optimize prototyping/emulation flows for faster turnaround and improved coverage.Preferred Qualifications:6 to 10 years of experience in FPGA Design/FPGA Prototyping (A Must).Good understanding of FPGA architecture, RTL design (Verilog/SystemVerilog), integration, and static timing analysis.Familiarity with high-speed and low speed protocols such as PCIe, UFS, USB, EMAC, I2C, SPI, UART.Familiarity with DDR interfaces and memory subsystem integration.Hands-on experience with FPGA prototyping and/or Emulation platforms.Good understanding of SoC architecture and verification methodologies.Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.Experience with scripting languages (Python, TCL) for automation.Exposure to software bring-up on FPGA/emulation platforms.Education:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
