  • Prepare and contribute to cash flow reporting and project financial analysis.
  • Partner with Project Managers to provide guidance on budgets, project costs, and financial processes.
  • Support audit activities by preparing documentation and responding to information requests.
  • Deliver financial training and support to operational stakeholders where required.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, controls, and financial processes.

Education, Experience & Skills

Essential:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting, finance, or project accounting roles (all levels encouraged to apply)
  • Demonstrated experience preparing Percentage of Completion (PoC) calculations.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS 15 and project revenue recognition principles.
  • Experience preparing financial reports, reconciliations, accruals, and month-end reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial information and provide meaningful insights.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, along with proficiency in Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • CA or CPA qualified or actively working towards completion.

Desirable:

  • Experience within project-based environments such as construction, engineering, consulting, professional services, or project management.
  • Experience with ERP systems, project accounting software, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
  • Experience supporting Project Managers and operational teams with financial guidance.
  • Experience delivering financial training to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Strong interest in continuous improvement and process enhancement initiatives.
