Your Impact

We're entering our next big growth phase - scaling Tacto to become the defining software company for industrials across Europe and beyond. The coming years are about expanding into new markets and building the organizational backbone to support that growth.

As our Venture Development hire, you'll play a key role in making that happen. You'll work directly with André (CEO) and our Chief of Staff to build and scale the teams that power Tacto's next chapter. You'll take ownership from day one - driving hiring, setting up scalable processes, and helping design the systems that let Tacto grow fast without losing focus or quality.

It's a hands-on, high-trust role at the center of our growth story - ideal for someone who wants to learn company-building from the inside and see real impact early.

Your Tasks

Build the team that builds the company: Take full ownership of hiring for your part of the org. Identify, engage, and close the best talent in the market.

Systemize and scale: Design the processes and playbooks that make our talent function scalable. Use automation, data, and storytelling to raise the bar.

Shape how Tacto shows up: Actively build our employer brand and storytelling. Create moments, content, and experiences that make Tacto the place where top talent in Europe wants to work.

Know the org inside out: Understand every moving part of how we operate - how teams collaborate, how we measure success, and where we need to evolve. Then help design and improve it.

Expand your scope: Once the foundation is built, take on broader company-building topics - you can build your own path here and we’re there to support you.

Your Profile

  • Smart, driven, and hungry to build - you get energy from moving fast and seeing results

  • You've seen what "great" looks like - through an internship or role in a top-tier startup, consulting, or VC environment

  • You like to get your hands dirty - you solve problems hands-on, not just talk about them

  • You have strong people intuition - you read people fast, connect easily, and build trust

  • You're a storyteller who can sell a vision and get others excited to join it

  • You're curious about how companies grow - and could see yourself staying in the Talent, or Org-Building space long-term

  • Ideally 1-2 years of professional experience (not required); fluent in German and English

We see this role as a "company-building apprenticeship". You'll work on one of the company's most important projects directly with senior leadership, shape the teams that shape Tacto, and see your fingerprints on the company's trajectory within months. Our Background

Tacto is building the intelligence layer that connects AI to the physical world of manufacturing, starting with procurement. AI is transforming every industry, but it stops at the factory gate. The knowledge that holds manufacturing together - part costs, suppliers, materials - is scattered across systems and people. Over 50% of a product's cost originates from suppliers, making procurement the single largest cost lever in manufacturing and the missing connection between the digital and the physical world. Yet it still runs on Excel and legacy systems. We're changing that with our Procurement Intelligence Platform, trusted by hundreds of companies running billions of Euros of material.
