Commissioning Manager - Water Logan
The opportunity
The Commissiong Manager will work as part of the Logan Water Partnership supporting the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects across the program.

What you’ll do
Lead the commissioning phase of projects, ensuring alignment with the overall project schedule and budget.
Develop and implement commissioning procedures, plans and schedules in collaboration with client and Professional Service Provider (Design) teams.
Actively participate in the planning and design processes to deliver value for money outcomes and provide critical commissioning input and advice
Develop commissioning budgets and manage time and cost performance of commissioning work packs
Provide expert technical advice to the wider Water Services team
Oversee and ensure proper testing and validation of systems and equipment according to specifications and regulatory standards.
Coordinate the final handover of commissioned systems to operations teams, ensuring smooth transition and operational readiness.

What we’re looking for
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Professional certifications in commissioning preferred but not essential
Leadership qualifications (Frontline Management or the like) highly regarded
Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in commissioning management, preferably within the water industry.
Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, systems, and equipment.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
In-depth understanding of safety legislation, in particular WHS compliance requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
