In this role, you will apply deep thermal and fluid physics expertise to solve some of the most challenging thermal management problems in electronics, including AI data center infrastructure, high-speed connectivity, liquid-cooled systems, industrial power delivery, and EV applications. You will leverage advanced simulation tools and engineering judgement to drive predictive engineering capabilities and support Molex's vision of Virtual Product Qualification (VPQ).Our TeamYou will be part of the Multiphysics Simulation Group within the Predictive Engineering organization at Molex's Global Technical Center in Bengaluru. The team serves as the simulation and engineering analysis backbone for Molex's global businesses, delivering physics-based insights that accelerate product development, improve reliability, and enable innovation across automotive, datacom, industrial, medical, aerospace, and consumer markets.What You Will DoLead thermal and CFD simulation activities for advanced electronic products, cooling systems, and high-power applications across global Molex product divisions.Develop physics-based models to evaluate heat transfer, airflow, liquid cooling performance, thermal resistance, and temperature distribution in complex systems.Translate simulation insights into actionable design recommendations that improve product performance, reliability, and manufacturability.Partner with product engineering, validation, and system teams to identify thermal risks early and support successful product development programs.Drive correlation between simulation predictions and physical test data, improving confidence in virtual qualification methodologies.Champion engineering rigor by applying sound thermal and fluid dynamics principles to assess model assumptions, boundary conditions, and analytical results.Contribute to the development of simulation standards, best practices, and predictive engineering capabilities across the organization.Support innovation initiatives involving digital twins, reduced-order models, and simulation-driven product development approaches.Communicate complex thermal phenomena and engineering findings effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of simulation capabilities within the organization.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.3+ years of experience in thermal analysis, CFD simulation, or heat transfer engineering within product development environments.Strong understanding of heat transfer fundamentals including conduction, convection, radiation, and conjugate heat transfer.Experience using commercial CFD and thermal simulation tools such as Ansys Fluent, Ansys Icepak, Simcenter STAR-CCM+, Flotherm, or OpenFOAM.Knowledge of fluid mechanics, turbulence modeling, numerical methods, and simulation best practices.Experience validating simulation results through engineering calculations, analytical methods, or physical testing.Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across global engineering teams.What Will Put You AheadMaster's degree in Thermal, Mechanical, Aerospace, or a related engineering discipline.Experience with electronics...
