This role focuses on network architecture, engineering standards, lifecycle management, automation, security, and platform reliability rather than day-to-day operational support.Job DescriptionThe ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Cisco Meraki, SD-WAN, enterprise networking, and network platform engineering, along with a strong track record of building scalable, secure, and resilient network solutions across distributed environments. You will partner closely with Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and IT Operations teams to ensure the network platform supports business growth, manufacturing operations, and evolving security requirements.Key Responsibilities:Network Platform Engineering & ArchitectureDesign and maintain enterprise-grade network platforms across LAN, wireless, WAN, SD-WAN, data center, and cloud connectivity environments.Serve as a subject matter expert for Cisco Meraki and SD-WAN technologies.Develop and maintain network reference architectures, standards, and implementation patterns.Ensure network solutions integrate effectively with cloud, identity, endpoint, server, and security platforms.Lifecycle Management & ReliabilityLead network hardware and software lifecycle planning, including EOL/EOS management, refresh strategies, and roadmap development.Define and enforce global standards for network architecture, firmware, hardware, and configuration baselines.Drive proactive risk reduction initiatives and technical debt remediation.Security & ResilienceEngineer secure-by-design network platforms in partnership with cybersecurity teams.Manage vulnerability identification, prioritization, remediation planning, and validation.Design resilient network architectures utilizing segmentation, redundancy, and fault-tolerant principles.Automation & OptimizationDevelop automation for network deployment, validation, and configuration management.Improve observability through monitoring, logging, and performance analytics.Continuously optimize platform scalability, reliability, and operational efficiency.Technical LeadershipMentor network engineers and provide Tier-3 escalation support for complex issues.Participate in architecture reviews, incident post-mortems, and strategic planning initiatives.Support global expansions, acquisitions, and infrastructure transformation projects.Qualifications7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.Deep expertise with:Cisco Meraki - SD-WAN architecturesRouting & Switching (BGP, OSPF, VLANs)Wireless networkingFirewalls and network security controlsExperience supporting distributed, multi-site, or manufacturing environments.Strong understanding of high-availability and resilient network design.Experience documenting architectures, standards, and engineering designs.Excellent communication skills and experience working with globally distributed teams.Preferred:Azure and/or AWS networking experienceNetwork automation (REST APIs, scripting, Infrastructure as Code)ITIL or platform ownership experienceCCNP, CCIE, or equivalent certificationsExperience supporting M&A or global infrastructure transformation initiativesAdditional InformationOnly applicants residing in Mexico will be considered for this opportunity.By clicking the link above or any third-party link within this posting, you are leaving this site and going to a third-party website where the third-party website's terms and privacy policy applyI'm interestedI'm interestedPrivacy NoticeI'm interestedRefer a friendshare this jobShare to WeChat×Copy the link and open WeChat to share.Copy to clipboardOpen WeChatShare to WeChat×Use Scan QR Code in WeChat and click...
