Production Laborer
Pay: $17.00/hour
Schedule: 1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Summary
We are hiring dependable Production Laborers to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a hands-on position responsible for supporting daily production operations, operating equipment, loading materials, maintaining a safe work environment, and helping the team meet production goals. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy physical work, working outdoors, and being part of a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform production tasks while meeting quality and productivity standards.
- Load and unload materials into manufacturing equipment.
- Assist with maintaining proper production line flow and efficiency.
- Operate equipment such as front-end loaders, skid steers, and off-road vehicles (training provided as applicable).
- Complete pre-shift and end-of-shift equipment inspections.
- Keep work areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Participate in daily safety meetings and production briefings.
- Accurately complete production paperwork and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus.
- Forklift experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequently bend, stoop, crouch, and climb stairs or ladders.
- Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Work in indoor and outdoor environments.
- Tolerate varying weather conditions, loud noise, and manufacturing environments while wearing required PPE.
