Your Role
In a rapidly digitizing world, the interfaces between analog and digital domains are essential enablers of modern technology. Join the largest Analog-Mixed-Signal (AMS) verification laboratory team at Infineon, dedicated to analog and digital measurement. Our labs verify a wide range of devices, including:
* Analog blocks in Infineon microcontrollers
* Analog to Digital (ADC) and Digital to Analog (DAC) converters
* High-speed interfaces and High Precision Oscillators and PLLs
* Power Management Systems (PMS) and Battery Management Systems (BMS)
* DCDC Converters for low voltage applications and Linear Voltage Regulators (LDOs)
* RF blocks for radar systems and Bias & Control circuits for 5G antennas
Key responsibilities in your new role
Take this opportunity to expand your theoretical knowledge and acquire practical, hands-on experience in areas such as:
* Analog-Mixed-Signal Integrated Circuits: Understand and work with semiconductor integrated circuits
* Measurement Equipment and Techniques: Gain experience with the latest AMS measurement tools and acquire expertise in AMS measurement techniques
* Board-Level Skills: Learn board assembly, rework, and soldering
* Debugging and Problem Solving: Develop skills to identify root causes of unexpected behavior and understand parasitic effects on circuit performance
* Data Management and Automation: Handle big data, conduct post-processing, and automate lab test setups
* Effective Communication: Prepare, present, and document measurement results according to high-quality standards
* Comprehensive Hands-On Experience: Combine theoretical knowledge with practical application across diverse AMS areas
You will also benefit from working in a dynamic, international environment with more than 100 previous student interns, many of whom have joined the lab or Infineon’s global teams as engineers.

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)

Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
* Educational Background: Enrolled as a student in Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics, or a related field
* Lab Equipment Expertise: Familiarity with using laboratory equipment
* Programming Knowledge: Understanding of programming languages such as C, C#, or C++
* Language Skills: Good English skills
* Internship Commitment: Willingness to complete an internship of at least 6 months, preferably 1 year or more
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students (https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/minimum-salaries-white-collar-workers-2026-05-01.pdf).
