Our mission is to make booking and hosting holiday homes free of doubt and full of joy, by helping hosts generate more bookings with less work and helping guests find a holiday home they truly enjoy.
Our team of 700 colleagues from 60+ nations shares a passion for tech, an ambition for constant improvement, and a relentless drive to bring the best experience to more than 40k vacation rental hosts and 4 million annual guests.Your future teamYou'll join the M&A team — the engine behind Holidu's growth. Acquisitions are an essential part of how we win: We have already completed 14 deals to consolidate Europe's fragmented vacation-rental market, and the pace is increasing. There's consistently more live deal work than people to do it — which is exactly why this role exists, and why you'll carry real responsibility from the start rather than waiting your turn. You'll work directly with the team, our VP M&A and with colleagues across Europe, learning deal-making the only way it sticks: by doing it, with senior people in your corner rather than over your shoulder. This is a permanent role with real ownership from the start and a clear path to grow as our deal velocity increases — for people who want to build a deal-making career, not just sample one.Your role in this journeySource the pipeline. Run market maps and screens across verticals, track the players, and surface the targets worth pursuing — increasingly with the AI tooling we're building in-house.Build the investment case. Evaluate opportunities and prepare the materials that go in front of our investment committee — your analysis shapes which deals we do.Execute live deals. Execute live deals. Own workstreams across due diligence and deal execution on real transactions — with hands-on guidance from the team as you go.Integrate what we buy. Lead post-merger integration as cross-functional project manager — where most of a deal's value is actually made or lost.Scale the machine. Help define and sharpen the M&A process itself as we increase deal velocity.Round out your toolkit. Optionally spend focused rotations in one adjacent growth team - functions every deal touches.Your backpack is filled withTop-of-class degree in a business, STEM, or quantitative field — and the track record to back it up.A standout early signal: internships at a bank, PE/VC fund, or top consultancy; a startup you helped build; or something you've shipped that proves you operate above your level.First-principles thinker. You break ambiguous problems into parts, get to the answer, and back it with evidence — not frameworks for their own sake.Owner's mindset. You'd rather take a workstream and run with it than wait to be told what to do. Fast-paced, multi-project environments energize you.Fluent in the tools of the trade: Excel and PowerPoint; German and English, both strong — you'll work across European markets and need both. Our adventure includesDeal exposure that compounds. Touch more live transactions in a year than most analysts see in their first three years at a bank or fund — across sourcing, execution, and integration.Mentorship that matters. Direct guidance from the team and exposure to how a scaling company actually makes its biggest decisions.Real responsibility, fast. Own meaningful workstreams from day one, with structured feedback, workshops, and knowledge exchanges to sharpen you as you go.Learning budget for conferences, courses, and books - invest in the skills you want to build.Flexibility: hybrid working, plus up to 8 weeks a year from any of our European offices. The basics, handled: 28 vacation days (+ up to 10 unpaid), discounted premium gym membership or Urban Sports Club, discounts on Holidu Homes, and an...
