Role descriptionAs our new Process Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and developing the process equipment for our electrolysers. You will work to improve product performance and ensure safe, reliable, and efficient electrolyser systems. This is a broad and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with engineering in a small company where you can make an impact.You will be based at our Gothenburg office.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), as well as perform mass and energy balance calculations and prepare equipment specificationsCreate, maintain and update process documentation, including cause-and-effect matrices, process description and operating manualsEnsure compliance with applicable safety standards, regulatory requirements and quality requirementsPerform dimensioning and sizing of process systems, including piping, pressure safety valves (PSVs) and control valvesDesign and develop water and gas purification systems for electrolysersSupport equipment selection such as instruments, valves and filtersParticipate in commissioning and validation activities, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT)Your profileYou have a Bachelor’s degree in process engineering, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or another relevant technical field together with 5+ years of relevant experience in a process engineering role. Your background includes:Experience with pressurized equipmentExperience working with flammable gasesStrong understanding of process optimization, quality tools, root-cause analysis and risk assessments (e.g., FMEA, HAZOP, HAZID, 5 Whys)Familiarity with pressure equipment codes/standards (e.g., PED, ASME, ATEX, IEC 61511, IEC 62061, ISO 12100)Experience...
