For the first time, Ukrainian drones will be manufactured on an industrial scale in Europe, combining Ukrainian battlefield-proven technology with German industrial automation to create a new model of cross-border defence co-production: the German Model.All-round role with a focus on monthly closing, HGB and ERPFor a modern mid-sized production company, we are looking for an experienced, structured and digitally minded professional for our accounting department.In this role, you will take on a central all-round function in day-to-day accounting – from operational postings to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements. You will work closely with commercial management, the external tax advisor, as well as the purchasing, warehouse and production departments, and actively contribute to building efficient accounting and ERP processes.Your role in daily operations:Responsibility for ongoing financial accounting, in particular general ledger, accounts payable and fixed asset accountingOperational involvement in accounts payable, including account assignment, reconciliations and execution of payment runsReconciliation of bank, general ledger and vendor accounts, as well as clarification of open itemsPreparation and execution of monthly closings, including provisions and accrualsPreparation of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB in collaboration with the tax advisorPreparation of VAT returns and other tax filingsSupport in liquidity planning, reporting and internal analysesFurther development of accounting processes within the ERP systemMain point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, banks and internal departmentsWhat you bring:Completed commercial training, e.g. as a tax clerk, industrial clerk or a comparable qualificationSeveral years of experience in financial accounting, ideally as a Senior Financial Accountant, Sole Accountant or Balance Sheet AccountantSolid knowledge of accounting in accordance with German GAAP (HGB) and experience with monthly closingsConfident handling of VAT-related topics in daily operationsWillingness to contribute both operationally and to further develop processesExperience working with ERP systemsStrong Excel skills and high digital affinityStructured, accurate and independent way of workingUnderstanding of operational processes in purchasing, warehouse, production and goods receiptVery good German and English skillsSoft Skills & Attributes:Strong sense of responsibility and high attention to detailAbility to work in a focused and precise mannerResilience and reliability in a fast-paced production environmentStrong self-organization and the ability to follow structured processesAbility to link financial data with operational workflowsProactive identification of issues and potential improvementsConfident interaction with internal stakeholders and external service providersWhat we offer:A responsible key role in a growing production companyBroad range of responsibilities from operational accounting to monthly closingOpportunity to shape and optimize accounting and ERP processesClose collaboration with commercial management and tax advisorsShort decision-making paths and a modern, digital work environmentAttractive compensation in line with experience and qualificationsOn-siteWessling, Bayern, GermanyPeople & FinanceApplyorApply with Linkedin unavailableUpdate cookiesApply with Indeed unavailableUpdate cookiesShare jobHomepageEnglish
