Business Analyst - Connex 7 - 15 Years ( Bangalore/ Pune)

What you will be doing 

• Acts as an SRE specialist, benchmarking industry best practices and methodologies for minimizing downtime and improving software system reliability in terms of availability and performance.
• Coordinates capacity planning efforts to ensure that systems can handle current and future loads, working with cross-functional teams to scale infrastructure resources appropriately based on demand. Consults on incident response efforts and root-cause investigation activities, diagnosing and resolving complex issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime and mitigate system interruptions.
• Interfaces regularly with development teams to embed reliability and scalability considerations into the design and integration of new software components and system features.
• Implements monitoring processes, alerting systems, and response tools to detect and respond to anomalies in system behavior, driving proactive issue identification and prompt responses. Coordinates and communicates with security teams to ensure that reliability efforts align with the organization’s security policies and adhere to external regulatory compliance standards.
• Coaches and mentors junior-level engineers, providing guidance on SRE best practices for building reliable and scalable system components. Ensures that technological duties associated with cloud computing, including design, planning, management, maintenance, and support are completed.

• Overall 7 - 15 years of experience in  Business Analyst with Connex Switch

Technical Skills

• Connex AP & PI Architecture – Deep knowledge of authorization processing and host interface integration.
• Impact Assessment & Solution Design – Analyzing network mandates and identifying system impacts.
• ISO 8583 & Payment Message Processing – Transaction flow, field mapping, and message analysis.
• Production Support & Root Cause Analysis – Investigating and resolving complex production issues.
• Release Validation & Compliance Testing – Assessing changes, validating implementations, and ensuring compliance.

Domain Skills

• Network Mandates Management – Visa, Mastercard, Pulse, and Discover mandate assessment and implementation tracking.
• Card Payments Processing – Authorization, balance inquiry, ATM, debit, and credit transaction flows.
• Issuer Processing – Account management, routing, limits, and transaction lifecycle understanding.
• Core Banking Integration – Profile, Systematics, Cardbase, and host system interactions.
• Payments Consulting & Stakeholder Management – Translating business/network requirements into technical solutions and working with client teams.
