Job Description:
Medline is expanding its operations in Pune and is seeking Associate Business Analyst with strong expertise in data analysis, reporting, and business process automation. This role is responsible for delivering accurate, data-driven insights and timely, actionable reports that support strategic business decisions and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and maintaining reporting and automation solutions using Microsoft Excel (VBA), MS Access, SQL Server, Microsoft Fabric, Python, and Power BI. The role also involves optimizing reporting processes, designing efficient database solutions, automating workflows, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, data quality, and overall business performance.
Some of the roles and responsibilities
• Identify, extract, and analyze data to support key business functions and decision-making across departments.
• Design and develop tools or automate manual reporting processes using Excel VBA, MS Access, SQL, Python and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Fabric) based on business requirements.
• Prepare and deliver reports for stakeholders including Product Managers, Sales, and Rebate teams, ensuring clarity and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Sales, Inventory Management, and Marketing to gather requirements and deliver meaningful analytics and reporting solutions.
• Perform data-driven analysis to support process improvement initiatives and enhance operational efficiency.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity in all analysis and reports; proactively communicate any discrepancies to relevant stakeholders.
• Follow up on analytical outcomes, working with business users to ensure recommendations are reviewed and appropriately implemented.
• Validate and cross-reference data submissions, particularly from Sales, and perform initial analysis to support broader data evaluations.
• Manage and manipulate large datasets in Excel and Access with precision and efficiency to meet tight deadlines.
Required Skills
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Fabric, SQL and Python
o Microsoft Fabric – Designing and implementing Lakehouse solutions, data migration, data validation, ETL pipelines, and integrating Fabric with SQL Server and Power BI.
o SQL Server – Developing complex SQL queries, creating and optimizing stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and indexes to improve database performance and automate data processing
o Python – Building data validation and automation tools using libraries such as PySpark, Pandas, SQLAlchemy, PyODBC, OpenPyXL, NumPy, and Requests for large-scale data processing, reporting, Data pipeline automation and database integration.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Access, including complex formulas, pivot tables, VBA, forms, queries, and report generation.
• Good to have hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform:
o Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) – designing user-friendly business applications.
o Power Automate – automating workflows and improving operational efficiency.
o Power BI – creating dynamic, interactive dashboards and visual reports.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and business solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Customer-oriented mindset, responsive to stakeholder queries and committed to delivering high-quality support and solutions.
• Self-motivated and proactive, capable of managing tasks independently and prioritizing workload effectively.

Educational Qualification
Any Graduate / Post Graduate degree
