In this role, you will apply deep subject-matter expertise to drive compliance, strengthen controls, and shape governance frameworks that have meaningful impact across a global organisation. This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of risk, technology governance, and operational execution — influencing outcomes that matter at scale.
## Responsibilities
* Monitor and report on governance metrics to track compliance adoption and maturity across business functions, ensuring alignment with enterprise data governance policies and standards.
* Manage end-to-end governance processes including the preparation of materials for governance forums, coordination of compliance reviews, and maintenance of accurate evidence documentation.
* Assess the scope and impact of risk issues related to end user computing and technology governance controls, and actively drive their resolution through structured remediation processes.
* Consult with business stakeholders to define and integrate processes that align with the enterprise data governance roadmap and risk and control framework.
* Lead the system change process from initial requirements through to implementation, applying sound analytical judgement to resolve issues within the business analysis function.
* Identify and document opportunities for process and tooling enhancements that improve operational efficiency and strengthen the overall control environment.
* Contribute to the development of enterprise-wide governance policies, standards, and procedures by producing well-researched, data-informed recommendations.
* Serve as a subject-matter expert on governance policy, providing guidance and coaching to team members and stakeholders to drive consistent, compliant outcomes.
## Required Qualifications & Skills
* 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in data governance, data management, risk and control, policy compliance, or a related field.
* Analytical capability to filter, prioritise, and validate complex information from multiple sources in order to make sound, evidence-based decisions.
* Project management skills with the ability to coordinate competing priorities, meet tight deadlines, and adapt to changing requirements without loss of quality.
* Communication and diplomacy skills that enable effective stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence outcomes through advice and counsel.
* Ability to evaluate moderately complex issues and balance conflicting considerations, drawing on multiple information sources to determine the right course of action.
* Demonstrated ability to take an informal leadership role within teams, including supporting the onboarding and development of new team members.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
## Beneficial Skills & Qualifications
* Familiarity with end user computing frameworks, technology-enabled solutions governance, or related compliance environments.
* Experience supporting or contributing to the development of business cases for tooling enhancements, including data gathering and impact quantification.
* Exposure to innovation or AI-related initiatives, including research support and documentation for emerging technology programmes.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting, analysis, and stakeholder communication.
