ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE SPECIALIST – MRO

Labcorp is seeking a Accounts Receivable Specialist within the Revenue Cycle Management Division to join our team.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 9:30am-6:00pm EST
Responsibilities:
Process/post AR from all assigned payers within the expected Turnaround Time (TAT)
Using macros and other computer based tools and multiple systems
Manage time and tasks independently while maintaining productivity
Research payer websites to obtain posting backup
Identify issues and trends with assigned payers
Ensure aged AR is handled according to Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)
Communicate with leadership and partner teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of remittance
Remain flexible to everchanging priorities
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
1 year or more insurance/claims/cash posting/accounts receivable/remittance work experience
1 year or more EOB - Explanation of Benefits
One year or more medical or healthcare experience
One year or more Excel experience

1 year or more electronic/manual remittance
1 year or more experience with private and government payers
Additional Job Standards:
Meet weekly and monthly production goals after training
High level Internet speed (50 mbps) connectivity
Strong communication skills
Dedicated work from home space
Focus on work uninterrupted for long periods of time
Strong attention to detail and structured work environment

Pay Range: $17.75 - $21.00 HR

This Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for posting AR and electronic/manual remittance from private and government payers into the billing system. Posting requires use of multiple reports, macros and tools to balance files to money received.
Benefits Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
