It’s these connections that make Quadient such an exceptional place to grow your career, develop your skills and make a real impact – help our future-focused business lead the way in powering secure and sustainable business connections through digital and physical channels. Job DescriptionWe are looking for a strategic and collaborative Head of Data Architecture & Governance to lead the evolution of Quadient’s enterprise data ecosystem and governance capabilities.This is a newly created leadership role that will play a critical part in enabling Quadient’s Elevate to 2030 strategy, helping the organization build scalable, trusted, and AI-ready data foundations across the business.You will operate at the intersection of data strategy, architecture, governance, analytics, AI, and compliance, partnering closely with technology, business, security, and analytics teams to shape the future of enterprise data at Quadient.This role is ideal for someone who combines strong enterprise data architecture expertise with the ability to drive collaboration, influence stakeholders, and operationalize governance practices across complex organizations.Define and lead Quadient’s enterprise data architecture and governance strategyEstablish scalable frameworks for data quality, master data management, metadata, governance, and stewardshipDesign target-state architectures supporting analytics, AI, machine learning, and modern cloud data platformsDrive adoption of enterprise data governance practices across business and technology teamsPartner with leadership, architecture, engineering, analytics, security, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and executionDefine standards for data ingestion, transformation, storage, security, access, and lifecycle managementSupport the evolution toward modern data architectures, including data lakes/lakehouses and real-time data platformsLead and grow a high-performing data architecture and governance capabilityEnsure enterprise data practices align with security, privacy, and compliance requirementsQualificationsExtensive experience in data architecture, enterprise data management, or data leadership rolesStrong experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms and governance frameworksProven ability to establish collaborative partnerships and drive organizational adoption of data practicesExperience with data quality, master data management, governance, and data stewardshipStrong understanding of modern cloud data ecosystems, especially Microsoft AzureExperience with platforms such as Databricks or SnowflakeFamiliarity with analytics and AI-enabled data environmentsExperience leading technical teams and influencing enterprise-wide strategiesStrong stakeholder management and communication skills, including executive-level interactionsAbility to operate effectively in complex, multi-platform enterprise environmentsNice to haveExperience with post-M&A environments or highly fragmented enterprise landscapesFamiliarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or AWSExperience supporting enterprise-wide AI and advanced analytics initiativesKnowledge of enterprise compliance and privacy requirements, including GDPRKnowledge gaps can be filled.
