Procurement Operations Associate Manager – Legal Sourcing

Job Description

Join our Procurement organization and help drive strategic sourcing initiatives within the Legal category. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders, Procurement teams, and suppliers to develop sourcing strategies, optimize spend, and deliver measurable value through effective supplier and contract management.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in legal services sourcing, category management, negotiations, and stakeholder engagement. This role requires a strategic mindset, market awareness, and the ability to manage complex sourcing initiatives while building strong relationships with internal clients and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives within the Legal category, ensuring alignment with business objectives, budget requirements, and procurement standards.
• Partner proactively with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, forecast demand, and identify opportunities to optimize spend and reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Conduct category analysis, supplier assessments, market research, and spend analysis to identify sourcing opportunities and drive value creation.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies, including supplier selection, competitive bidding events, negotiations, and contract execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders and strategic suppliers to ensure successful delivery and long-term value.
• Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry developments to support informed sourcing decisions.
• Manage supplier performance and contract compliance, conducting regular business reviews and performance assessments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver sourcing projects and support procurement transformation initiatives.
• Provide category expertise and strategic guidance throughout the sourcing lifecycle.
• Ensure smooth transition of awarded suppliers and sourcing outcomes to purchasing and operational procurement teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Legal Sourcing, Strategic Sourcing, Category Management, or Procurement.
• Demonstrated experience managing legal services suppliers, contracts, and sourcing initiatives.
• Proven ability to lead negotiations and deliver commercial value through strategic sourcing activities.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in a global or complex business environment.
• Strong understanding of supplier management, contract management, and procurement best practices.
• Advanced English communication skills.
