Production Associate IDavenport, IASummaryUnder the direction of the departmental Supervisor, the Production Associate I executes the position responsibilities to ensure that business goals are met.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThis list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Responsibilities1. Follows work processes and demonstrates proficiency in at least one functional area:High-quality soldering or related activityProduct assembly 2. Supports overall department functions and responsibilities:Assists other personnel to meet delivery schedulesMonitors and maintains equipment including sealers, work benches, and label printers; notifies Production Supervisor if repair or replacement is requiredDisassembles returns as assignedCounts inventory for cycle counts and full physical inventoryExecutes work instructions and provides expected feedbackExecutes build-to-stock orders as assigned3. References work instructions, build charts, and part configurator to ensure parts match customer specifications.QualificationsThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Ability to read and interpret documents such as packing slips, procedure manuals, Bill of Materials, and ISO9001:2015 work instructions.Reasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.Other Skills and AbilitiesRequires the ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and simple tools, as well as a wide variety of standard office equipment, such as a computer and keyboard, a calculator, telephone, FAX, photocopier, etc.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
