We currently have an opportunity for a Site Facilities Supervisor to join our Government & Integrated Facilities Management team to play a key role in ensuring safe, compliant and efficient facilities operations that support critical government infrastructure services. Based in Brisbane, this is at the Brisbane Immigration Detention Centre (BIDC). Reporting to the Site Facilities Manager, you'll help deliver high-quality outcomes that support our essential services.
What You’ll Do
This role offers a broad scope, with key responsibilities including:
Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.
Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships with clients, service delivery partners (SDPs), subcontractors and operational teams.
Manage and coordinate service delivery partners, monitor quality outcomes, and support compliance through audits and inspections.
Prepare and manage quotations, approval requests, variations and work order documentation within the Works Management System.
Monitor asset performance and maintenance data, identify improvement opportunities, and support continuous service delivery excellence across the site
What You’ll Bring
Trade qualification (electrical, plumbing or similar) highly regarded, or strong Facilities Coordination/Facilities Management experience.
Demonstrated experience managing contractors, subcontractors or service delivery partners within a facilities, property or maintenance environment.
Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to build positive and effective working relationships.
Advanced computer skills and experience using Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Works Management Systems or similar platform.
Strong understanding of compliance, scheduling, approvals, quotations, work order management and maintenance service delivery processes.
