This is an Associate level position level position within the Risk, Regulatory & Resilience, which performs various independent functions to ensure adequate controls are in place. We do this by providing an integrated risk and control framework to govern, assess, mitigate and manage financial and operational risk in Operations.Since 1935, Morgan Stanley is known as a global leader in financial services, always evolving and innovating to better serve our clients and our communities in more than 40 countries around the world.What you'll do in the role: Execute processes/functions and/or support process management and project efforts, leveraging knowledge of the systems, markets and instruments that influence the team.Recognize risk in day-to-day processes to draw out the key issues and contribute to process improvements.Build relationships within team and internal stakeholders, sharing knowledge to contribute to team output.Participate in projects and initiatives, aiding in solution formulation with a focus on timely execution.Support and drive implementation of data projects (Data Policy Implementation / Sensitive Data / Data Lineage) through application of Policy principles and guidance.Strong understanding of the Data Policy standards and Sensitive Data requirements and use this to influence stakeholders.Support any Firm-wide data transformation initiatives such as BCBS239 on behalf of Operations.Should have worked closely with key Operations stakeholders across the Business to ensure compliance with data policies.Should have expertise in Collibra and cataloguing Data requirements, leverage this to provide valuable feedback to Firmwide Data Office on tooling enhancements, aligned to the interest and functional efficiency within the team.Identify enhancements/process improvements, related project work as required, testing of new changes to be implemented.Should have Liaised with other Divisional Data Offices to ensure deadlines and requirements are addressed in a timely manner, escalating issues where necessary.Develop and maintain effective partnerships across all stakeholder groups, within Operations, across Divisions and Business Units, Technology and Legal and Compliance.Should have supported Data Issue Management processes.Maintain and develop regulatory and functional business knowledge to serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact for Operations on Data Quality matters.What you'll bring to the role: At least 2-4 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role.Ability to establish...
