Legacy Modernization Skills

• Strong experience in mainframe / legacy modernization programs.
• Deep understanding of legacy application architecture, batch processing, data structures, and integration patterns.
• Experience with HP NonStop, COBOL, C++, TACL, Enscribe, SQL/MP, Pathway, or similar legacy platforms.
• Ability to assess legacy complexity and define practical modernization approaches.

Architecture Skills

• Strong enterprise architecture and solution design experience.
• Experience designing target-state architecture on modern cloud platforms.
• Ability to define application, data, integration, batch, and operational architecture.
• Good understanding of modular architecture, APIs, event-driven patterns, and cloud-native principles.

Cloud & Engineering Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure-based modernization preferred.
• Knowledge of .NET / C# / Azure SQL / API-based platforms.
• Understanding of DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, logging, and release automation.
• Ability to work closely with Azure Platform Engineers and Solution Architects.

AI & Automation Skills

• Exposure to AI-assisted modernization tools or GenAI-based engineering workflows.
• Understanding of AI-based code analysis, documentation, rule extraction, and test generation.
• Ability to define validation controls for AI-generated outputs.
• Awareness of hallucination risks and need for human validation.

Agile Delivery Skills

• Strong experience working in Agile / Scrum / SAFe delivery models.
• Experience with phased delivery, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and iterative validation.
• Ability to work with distributed teams across onshore and offshore locations.
• Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
