This dynamic role not only involves design, integration, validation, and troubleshooting of Cloud RAN solutions but also spans various domains such as RAN, Cloud, Network Management, AI and delivery automations. What you will do: * Participate in analyzing customer requirements and designing Cloud RAN solutions. * Provide technical support for the preparation and review of high-level and low-level designs, Methods of Procedure (MoPs), Test Object lists, test plans, and test execution related to Ericsson’s Cloud RAN solution portfolio. * Drive Cloud RAN Solution Integration and validation in the customer network as per project timelines. * Prepare and optimize Cloud RAN configurations to achieve optimal network performance. * Perform fault isolation and troubleshooting, identify workarounds, and coordinate with the R&D team to drive issues to resolution. * Resolve business-critical technical issues and escalations by proactively communicating and coordinating with all relevant stakeholders. * Manage early solution/product introductions and deliver demonstrations of all strategic features. * Improve the Cloud RAN solution introduction efficiency by leveraging end-to-end automation and AI. The skills you bring: * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field. * 2+ years of hands-on experience in Telecom or IT. * Solid knowledge of Linux, IP networking, and security, ideally in RAN/cloud environments. * Hands-on experience with telco cloud platforms using virtualization, containerization, and Kubernetes. * Proficiency with scripting (e.g., Python, Bash, Ansible) to automate deployment, configuration, and testing. * Hands-on experience with AI/ML is a plus. * Understanding of 3GPP-based mobile networks is a plus. * Self-driven, structured, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with evolving technologies. * Demonstrated technical leadership potential with strong communication and influencing skills. * Strong customer focus with the ability to handle escalations and drive business-critical issues to resolution. * Must be based in, the United States and be legally authorized to work in the US; Ericsson will not sponsor immigration or work authorization for this position unless otherwise stated.
