What You Will Do
Design and implement high-performance software solutions using C++, Java, Python, or Typescript within an Agile development environment.
Contribute to architectural decisions, mentor team members, and drive best practices across the software organization
Develop and implement new products, processes, standards and to improve on existing processes and practices
Support periodic flight test events, including system integration, and troubleshooting activities at remote facilities and test ranges
Collaborate closely with cross‑functional engineering and integrated program teams.
Assist with technical proposals, technical estimation, and program planning for development and production programs
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior work experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of prior work experience.
Experience with C++ and/or Java development with a focus on application scalability and performance.
Experience interacting with customers (internal or external), suppliers, and/or other organizations / disciplines.
An active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.
Travel up to 25%
Qualifications We Prefer
BS or advanced degree in Software Engineering or a related major is HIGHLY PREFERRED.
Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
Experience with system integration and test and flight test support
Experience with web development or interfaces
Ability and desire to facilitate team growth and knowledge transfer.
Experience with estimating software tasks for extended periods of time (i.e. longer than 12 months).

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
