We are looking for an experienced Agile Coach to lead and accelerate Agile adoption across teams, departments, and enterprise programs. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive expertise in Agile coaching and Agile transformation, who can drive organizational change while fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and customer-centric delivery.
As an Agile Coach, you will work closely with senior leadership, product teams, engineering, PMOs, and cross-functional stakeholders to implement Agile best practices, improve delivery effectiveness, and build high-performing Agile teams. You will mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and leaders while enabling organizations to successfully scale Agile methodologies across multiple business units. Experience with enterprise-level Agile frameworks and transformation initiatives will be highly valued.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Lead organization-wide Agile transformation initiatives and establish a sustainable Agile culture.
- Coach executives, business leaders, Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile teams on Agile values, principles, and practices.
- Assess organizational Agile maturity and develop tailored transformation roadmaps to improve delivery outcomes.
- Mentor cross-functional teams to adopt Agile methodologies, enhance collaboration, and continuously improve performance.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, leadership workshops, retrospectives, and strategic planning sessions when required.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using metrics, feedback, and coaching interventions.
- Help teams identify delivery bottlenecks and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and predictability.
- Collaborate with engineering, product management, and business stakeholders to align Agile execution with organizational objectives.
- Support large-scale Agile implementation across multiple teams and programs.
- Develop Agile training programs, coaching materials, and knowledge-sharing sessions for various organizational levels.
- Promote servant leadership, transparency, accountability, and a mindset of continuous learning throughout the organization.
- Guide leadership in building governance models that support Agile delivery without compromising business objectives.
Required Skills
Must-Have Skills
- Strong hands-on experience as an Agile Coach in large-scale enterprise environments.
- Proven expertise in leading complex Agile transformation programs across multiple teams and business units.
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks including Scrum, Kanban, Lean, and Extreme Programming (XP).
- Excellent coaching, mentoring, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with senior leadership to drive organizational change and Agile maturity.
- Strong conflict resolution, communication, and change management capabilities.
- Ability to establish Agile metrics, measure team performance, and drive continuous improvement.
- Experience coaching distributed and cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience implementing SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) across enterprise programs.
- Exposure to Enterprise Agile transformation strategies and governance models.
- Knowledge of Lean Portfolio Management and Agile PMO practices.
- Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD practices, and Agile engineering principles.
- Agile certifications such as Certified Enterprise Coach (CEC), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), ICAgile, Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of professional experience, including significant experience in Agile coaching, organizational transformation, and enterprise delivery.
- Demonstrated success in coaching multiple Agile teams while influencing leadership and organizational culture.
