Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector is seeking an experienced Maintenance Training Manager 2 to join our team of qualified individuals within our Flight Operations organization. This position will be located at Oklahoma City, OK. Please note that this opportunity is contingent on program funding. Start dates are determined after funding confirmation In this role, you will be responsible for… Key Responsibilities: * Oversees a team of Maintenance Trainers responsible for tracking and instructing a training pipeline * Designs and delivers programs to train all levels of personnel * Develops tests and visual aids, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities * Keeps abreast of training and development research: learning theory, motivation theory, and new materials, methods, and techniques * Develops in-house programs and practices to identify developmental needs, including preparing personnel for more responsible positions and increasing effectiveness in present assignments * May evaluate and/or oversee contractors or vendors to develop and/or administer training programs * May be responsible for development of e-learning programs Our Leaders at Northrop Grumman live our values daily and encourage our teams to do the same. Basic Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of experience; or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience; OR a High school diploma/GED with 9 years of experience * Experience should be in training and/or maintenance * 2 years of leadership experience * Experience with courseware sustainment * Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time * Must be able to travel to various locations for initial training for a minimum of 24 weeks prior to relocating to the...
