About the Role
Glide Ignite is looking for a product manager who uses AI development tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate product discovery, validation, and delivery.
This is not a traditional product role where requirements are handed to engineering, nor is it a pure software engineering role. We are seeking a product leader who starts with customer problems, develops product strategy, and uses AI-assisted development to rapidly prototype solutions, validate ideas, and reduce time to insight. This is a product-first role for someone who excels at customer understanding, prioritization, and strategy, while using modern AI tools to learn faster and drive better outcomes.
The ideal candidate combines strong product judgment with a hands-on builder mindset. They are comfortable talking to customers, defining success metrics, creating prototypes, and partnering with engineering to scale validated ideas into production products.
What You'll Do
- Own product opportunities from discovery through launch and measurement.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to identify problems worth solving.
- Define product strategy, roadmap priorities, and success metrics.
- Build prototypes, internal tools, and proofs of concept using AI coding agents such as Claude Code and Cursor.
- Validate ideas quickly with users before significant engineering investment.
- Partner closely with engineering and design to transition successful concepts into production solutions.
- Make informed decisions on scope, prioritization, tradeoffs, and sequencing.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted product development practices across the team.
- Use customer feedback, product analytics, and business outcomes to guide future investments.
What We're Looking For
Product Management Expertise
- 7+ years of product management, product strategy, or related experience.
- Experience launching new products, features, platforms, or business concepts from idea through validation and adoption
- Demonstrated success defining roadmaps, prioritizing investments, and shipping products that deliver measurable outcomes.
- Strong customer discovery, market analysis, and stakeholder management skills.
AI-Native Builder Mindset
- Regular user of Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, or similar AI development tools.
- Comfortable creating working prototypes, automations, dashboards, workflows, or lightweight applications.
- Able to evaluate AI-generated solutions and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
- Understands the difference between validating an idea and building a production-ready system.
Execution & Leadership
- Thrives in ambiguity and early-stage product environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Balances customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
- Operates independently while aligning teams around a common vision.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in startup, incubation, innovation, or 0→1 product environments.
- Experience building internal tools or delivering workflow automation solutions.
- Familiarity with healthcare technology, analytics, SaaS, or AI-enabled products.
- Experience with LLMs, agents, prompt engineering, RAG, or AI workflow design.
- Portfolio of side projects, prototypes, or tools that demonstrate a builder mindset.
Success in This Role
Successful candidates are product managers first and builders second. They use AI development tools to learn faster, validate ideas earlier, and improve product outcomes—not to replace product thinking.
You'll excel in this role if you:
- Consistently uncover valuable customer problems.
- Rapidly test ideas through prototypes and experimentation.
- Make sound product decisions based on evidence and customer feedback.
- Help engineering teams focus on the highest-value opportunities.
- Drive meaningful product and business impact through disciplined execution.
