We also collaborate with partners on the development of TransCon-based products in other therapeutic areas and markets.

 

We are seeking a passionate Intern to join the Marketing team. As a member of the Ascendis Pharma team, you will support the Marketing team in the development and execution of strategic and operational initiatives across our endocrinology and rare disease portfolio.

This position provides significant exposure to the pharmaceutical industry and offers the opportunity to work on innovative therapies addressing important unmet medical needs.

You will be joining the Marketing team, and report directly to the Marketing Director France. You will be working closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Market Access, Sales, Regulatory and Compliance teams, and contribute to product launch activities, marketing campaigns, medical education initiatives, congresses, and market analysis projects.

 

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Support the development and implementation of brand plans and product launch activities.
  • Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and customer insight analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Contribute to the development of promotional, educational, and disease awareness materials in collaboration with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Support the preparation and execution of scientific congresses, symposia, and stakeholder events.
  • Monitor marketing campaign performance and help identify opportunities to improve effectiveness and engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Sales, Market Access, Regulatory Affairs, Compliance and Global Marketing.
  • Assist in the management of patient engagement and disease awareness initiatives.
  • Support day-to-day project management activities, including coordination with global and local stakeholders.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, dashboards and marketing analyses for internal use.

 

Education:

We are specifically looking for candidates with a strong scientific background, including:

  • Master’s degree (or currently enrolled in Master's programme) in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology or a related scientific field.
  • Alternatively, candidates with a scientific degree (Bachelor's or Master's level) complemented by an interest in marketing and the pharmaceutical industry are encouraged to apply.
  • Pharmacy students, medical students and healthcare-related profiles are particularly welcome.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Strong interest in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly endocrinology, rare diseases and innovative therapies.
  • Ability to understand and communicate scientific and medical information.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Proactive, curious and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.

Previous experience in healthcare, life sciences, consulting, medical communication, research or pharmaceutical marketing is a plus but not required.
