Director, Product Management, Enterprise AI Capabilities _corporate_fare_ Google _place_ San Jose, CA, USA _bar_chart_ Director **Minimum qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or other relevant engineering discipline or equivalent practical experience. + 15 years of professional experience as a product leader driving elements of the product development life cycle such as product vision, go-to-market strategy, driving requirements, and product launch. + Experience with AI/ML and related technologies particularly applying them to enterprise applications. **Preferred qualifications:** + Experience motivating others at all levels by creating a shared sense of vision and purpose. + Ability to collaborate across orgs and product areas to get things done and comfort with organizational complexity. + Proven track record of delivering successfully within timelines and ability to balance detailed, technical guidance with “big picture” strategy, enabling teams to deliver products that are effective and also creating new ways to approach problems. + Strong at narrative and storytelling and excellent at “influence without authority”. + A track record of delivering complex projects with a bias to action and solid outcomes. **About the job** The Director, Product Management will lead a team of ~15 Product Managers across the Enterprise AI Capabilities ("EAIC") in multiple time zones, including the United States, Europe, and India. Corporate Engineering ("CorpEng") is the team that builds and maintains the infrastructure that powers Google. They are responsible for designing, building, securing, and operating the systems that keep Google running smoothly. The EAIC team is CorpEng’s force multiplier for AI Initiatives. As the Director you will be accountable for driving the full product life cycle (strategy to execution) and accelerating the responsible adoption and application of AI technologies across CorpEng by providing strategy, enablement, and reusable capabilities to empower delivery of AI-driven products. You will be responsible for unifying and transforming the AI Strategy in line with business goals and partner with CorpEng, Core, and Google Cloud Product ("GCP") leaders, enabling the AI Transformation of Corp Eng. As Director you will be responsible for driving 1st principles thinking to transform how Google operates, now and in the future with AI; influencing teams to use AI as "bolt-ons" for isolated tasks and instead focusing on deploying agentic AI that drives comprehensive outcomes; striving for enterprise processes that are fundamentally redesigned from the ground up to accrue the full benefits of AI, rather than just swapping out legacy tools; developing overall strategy and vision for the enterprise, partnering closely with CorpEng and other key stakeholders and partners; and monitoring product performance performance, adoption, and satisfaction in the product suite. US: $281000 - $392000 (USD) + 30% bonus target + equity + benefits Learn more aboutbenefits at Google (https://www.google.com/about/careers/applications/benefits/) . **Responsibilities** + Be a PM driving high priority projects (e.g., GCP/Gemini Enterprise, Cohesive Agentic Experiences). + Understand markets, competition, and user requirements in depth and drive product road map in partnership with CorpEng/Core teams. + Ensure that agents are developed as a scalable ecosystem with consistent user experience. + For early stage ideas (0 to 1), help figure out strategy for how to approach the problem and help develop MVP product proposals, proof-of-concept, etc. and for later stage agents, determine how to scale their deployments in line with business strategy.
