Three maverick farmers started it all — and we’ve been making our own way ever since.The Workforce Staffing Specialist will be responsible for managing team member staffing for the assigned plant. You will develop adaptable staff schedules, implement necessary adjustments, and utilize operating systems to ensure timely communication for proper staffing.You will collaborate with HR and hiring teams to employ best staffing practices to contribute to the optimal performance of the plant operations. Additionally, you will assist onboarding, payroll, and communications activities for the plant.A Day in the Life... Manage workforce staffing and create scheduling solutions by completing complex schedules and making appropriate adjustments based on business needs, time off requests, daily callouts and/or known leave of absences. Complete all hourly internal transfers, promotions, and/or job change transactions, ensuring compliance with any identified collective bargaining agreement or similar process for non-union locations. Interact with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, Human Resources and/or other functional leaders to determine best staffing approach to ensure successful operations by placing the right team members into the right positions at the right time. Build collaborative relationships with departments and hourly employees ensuring proper and timely communications are provided.
