hackajob is collaborating with Barclays to connect them with exceptional professionals for this role.As a Digital Portfolio Manager, you will help to ensure our technology projects deliver real value and align with our digital strategy. The evolution of the digital offering and the banking app are a key strategic focus for BUK with an exciting transformation agenda planned for 2026 and next three years.This role includes working closely with business and technology lab teams to ensure their roadmaps deliver the strategic objectives (OKRs), including customer and financial benefits, and all within agreed costs. You will be reporting to senior leadership, helping with business cases, managing stakeholders, overseeing funding process, tracking progress, and ensuring projects align with regulatory and compliance requirements.To be successful as a Digital Portfolio Manager, you should have experience with:Have experience in managing a portfolio of technology change delivery work or a transformation programmeExperience in financial management such as forecasting, budgeting, tracking costs and benefitsExperience in bidding for funding and developing business casesAnalytical background and experience in reporting, with strong Excel skillsAbility to manage and influence stakeholdersChange delivery frameworks - understand Agile Lab models, roadmaps, and productivity measuresSome Other Highly Valued Skills May IncludeKnowledge of using JIRA and ConfluenceGood communication skillsKnowledge and understanding of regulatory frameworks (FCA, PRA, Consumer Duty, and data compliance requirements)You may be assessed on the key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.This role can be based in London (1CP), Knutsford, Glasgow or Northampton.Purpose of the roleTo drive the success of the commercial banking segment through market analysis, product development, sales and relationship management, risk management, and performance.AccountabilitiesExecution of market research to understand the competitive landscape, identify market trends and opportunities, and develop strategies to capture market share within the commercial banking segment, taking into consideration industry, size, and growth stage.Development of appropriate pricing models for different products and services, ensuring profitability while remaining competitive in the market.Development, implementation and management of innovative financial solutions, services and products aligned to the banks objectives and are tailored to the commercial banking segment, including loan products, cash management solutions, and trade finance services.Identification and forging of strategic partnerships with other financial institutions, technology providers, or industry experts to expand product offerings and reach new client segments.Management of key stakeholder relationships within target companies to understand their needs and recommend appropriate solutions.Development and implementation of sales strategies including the establishment of sales targets, identification of...
