As a Manufacturing Engineer, you are responsible for developing and maintaining methods, operating sequences, and processes in the fabrication of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies. You'll work closely with other engineering functions to coordinate the release of product improvements and new products, and you'll use engineering principles to estimate and reduce manufacturing costs, improve product quality, determine time standards, and make recommendations for tooling and process requirements. Job Description
As a Manufacturing Execution & Systems Engineer, you will support daily manufacturing operations while driving continuous improvement across manufacturing systems and processes. You will work closely with engineering, operations, IT teams, and global partners to ensure seamless execution, accurate data flow, and scalable manufacturing solutions.
This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, analytical thinking, collaboration skills, and the ability to influence and lead cross-functional initiatives without direct authority.
Key Responsibilities
MES Support & Optimization
- Support and continuously improve Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) functionality.
- Provide creative solutions for complicate cases come from OPS systems and provide systematics supports to production and operational teams.
- Drive system enhancements that improve manufacturing efficiency and user experience.
Workflow & Procedure Management
- Implement and maintain manufacturing workflows, routings, and Final Integration Procedures (FIP) within MES and related platforms.
- Ensure system accuracy, compliance, and alignment with manufacturing requirements.
Data Analysis & Digital Solutions
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Analyze manufacturing data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
- Leverage AI-powered tools and digital technologies to enhance decision-making and operational effectiveness.
Cross-System Integration
- Work across SAP, MES, SharePoint, Smartsheet, and other enterprise systems to ensure data integrity and seamless process execution.
- Support system integration initiatives and process automation projects.
Global Collaboration
- Partner closely with global teams, including engineering and system support teams in India, to prioritize activities, resolve issues, and implement system improvements.
- Facilitate effective communication and alignment across multiple sites and functions.
Continuous Improvement & Leadership
- Identify process gaps and lead improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Drive projects and cross-functional activities through influence, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement.
- Act as a key enabler between operations, engineering, IT, and business teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, manufacturing systems, or related environments.
- Experience with MES platforms (SAP ME experience is a significant advantage).
- Strong familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- High proficiency and practical experience with AI tools and digital assistants such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, and similar technologies.
- Experience working in a global environment and collaborating with remote teams.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive results without direct authority.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, SharePoint, and Smartsheet.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
