Exciting opportunity to join Qualcomm’s Industrial IoT Finance team in a high-impact, fast-paced environment supporting a diverse portfolio of connected edge and industrial solutions. We are seeking a Senior Manager of Finance to serve as a finance partner to the business, supporting financial forecasting, performance management, and decision-making across Industrial IoT product lines.
This role partners closely with Product Management, Business Development, Sales, FP&A, Strategy, and Operations to translate complex financial data into clear insights, narratives, and recommendations that guide growth, investment, and execution. The Senior Manager will also support emerging businesses and new product lines, and help drive finance systems and reporting enhancements to improve insight and scalability.
This is a high-visibility role with regular interaction with senior and executive leadership.
Business Line Finance Partnership & Financial Storytelling
* Act as the finance partner for key emerging Industrial IoT business lines, supporting financial planning, forecasting, and performance management.
* Translate forecasts, deal economics, and operational drivers into cohesive financial narratives for QBRs, operating reviews, and leadership presentations.
* Bridge inputs across FP&A, commercial finance, and strategy to deliver aligned, decision-ready views of business performance.
* Partner with Strategy, Product, and Engineering teams on business case development, investment analysis, and scaling decisions.
Strategic Systems, Reporting & Insights Enablement
* Help define and drive strategic finance reporting and systems initiatives across Industrial IoT.
* Partner with Finance Systems and IT to enhance reporting matrices, dashboards, and data models, enabling deeper insights and faster decision-making.
* Improve segmentation, consistency, and attribution in financial reporting across products, verticals, and channels.
* Shift finance deliverables from static reporting to insight-driven analysis and storytelling.
Leadership & Internal Finance Collaboration
* Serve as a senior finance leader and trusted collaborator within the internal finance team, actively engaging with colleagues across finance and accounting to foster strong working relationships.
* Champion alignment and synergy among finance and accounting functions to deliver one unified financial narrative for leadership and stakeholders.
* Lead cross-functional efforts within finance, mentoring team members on collaborative business partnership, effective communication, and strategic thinking across finance and accounting groups.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree.
• 8+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
*Completed advanced degrees in a relevant field may be substituted for up to two years (Master’s = one year, Doctorate = two years) of work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• 11+ years of Finance, Accounting, or related work experience.
• 3+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with executive leadership (e.g., Vice President level and above).
• 3+ years of experience working in a large matrixed organization.
• 3+ years in a leadership role with or without direct reports.
