This role will primarily manage the accounting for prepaids, accrued expenses, intangible assets, and intercompany cross-charge activities. The role will partner closely with Procurement, IT, PD, Legal, FP&A, A/P, Tax, and our worldwide accounting teams to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of our financial operations and reporting over these areas.The ideal candidate brings hands-on technical accounting experience in the above domains, ideally proficient in Oracle EBS, Blackline amortization schedules, and Coupa. A demonstrated interest in process automation and the application of AI tools to improve accounting workflows is imperative. The ideal candidate is a strong team player with the desire to contribute in a high-performing, collaborative environment, with excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to effectively partner across teams and levels of the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional looking to make a meaningful impact at a leading multi-cloud application security company.Key Responsibilities:Accounting & ComplianceAccounting: Oversee the full lifecycle of prepayments for multi-year contracts, including accruals, capitalization, amortization, reconciliations, journal entries, reporting, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and F5 policies.Own intercompany cross-charge schedules, review and organize transactions for invoicing, and collaborate with worldwide accounting teams to prepare reconciliations.Create and maintain accrued expense subledgers.Partner with Procurement, IT, PD, FP&A, and other departments to evaluate expenditure requests, determine proper accounting treatment, and document supporting conclusions.Serve as a key resource for international accounting teams, collaborating on recurring and ad hoc efforts and reporting needs.Own the accounting for your area, anchored in the monthly accounting close process, identify opportunities for standardization, efficiency, accuracy, and automation.Willingly explore new projects, problem-solving, and...
