In this role, you will manage a team of 4–5 professionals, overseeing end-to-end invoice production, payment reconciliation, and client billing investigations that directly support Citi's institutional custody clients. This is a high-impact position where your operational leadership and financial expertise will shape service quality, control standards, and process efficiency across a complex, multi-market environment.Responsibilities:Lead end-to-end invoice production and delivery for Europe and Middle East custody clients, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and full alignment with agreed service levels.Oversee reconciliation of incoming payments and booking of receivables, managing escalation and resolution of past-due balances through consistent follow-up with business stakeholders.Review and approve daily team output, monitoring management information and team metrics to ensure outstanding items — including breaks, overdrafts, and inquiry volumes — are resolved promptly.Manage team workflow and day-to-day operations, handling staffing matters and maintaining coverage across all billing functions to sustain consistent service delivery.Coach and develop a team of 4–5 billing professionals, defining training requirements, delivering ongoing development planning, and completing performance reviews with clear, actionable feedback.Partner with internal business units and senior stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities, streamline operations, and reduce risk across billing workflows.Lead and document business requirements for projects and system enhancements, contribute to internal control testing reviews, manage corrective action plans, and support audit requests.Required Qualifications & Skills :At least 5 years of experience in the securities industry or financial services, with demonstrated knowledge of custody billing, reconciliation, or related operations.Proven ability to lead and manage operational teams, with direct experience overseeing workflow, coaching staff, and maintaining service quality under tight deadlines.Strong analytical and investigation skills, with the ability to assess complex, multi-source data and drive timely resolution of billing exceptions and account-level discrepancies.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access, applied to billing data analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills, including experience leading calls and service reviews with senior management and internal partners.Solid understanding of audit, compliance, and control frameworks, with the ability to uphold policy standards and escalate issues appropriately.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, or equivalent professional experience.We offer:By joining Citi Solutions Center Poland, you will not only be part of a business casual workplace with a hybrid working model (currently up to 2 days working at home per week), but also (potentially, subject to final offer) receive a competitive base salary and enjoy a whole host of additional benefits which can include:Employer paid Defined Contribution Pension Plan contribution of 6% of employee’s pensionable earnings (PPE Program)Employer paid Private Medical Care Package for employees and Private Medical Care Packages for certain family members available at preferential ratesEmployer paid Life Insurance Program for employees and Life Insurance for certain family members available at preferential ratesEmployee Assistance Program financed by EmployerPaid Parental Leave Program (maternity and paternity leave;...
