Job Description
Reporting to the Category Manager you will be responsible for :• Engaging and building relationships with top sellers to plan assortment, pricing, promotional and campaign activities on Lazada to achieve sales goals;• Analyzing and preparing weekly performance figures to management, active participation in weekly and monthly business reviews for the assigned Fashion category;• Developing understanding of assigned category dynamics in the market, spotting trends and support category manager to develop category strategy to grow the segment on Lazada;• Constantly be prepared to learn new skill sets and be on the forefront of e-commerce knowledge development, and coach sellers to adopt new tools and features to drive customer engagement and retention;• Working with cross-functional teams to execute on campaigns and strategic projects;
Job Requirements
In order to succeed in the role, you should ideally have: Minimum Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience;• Experience in sales and sales management;• Ability to speak and write in English and Mandarin fluently and idiomatically;• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic data analysis;• Action and solution-oriented mindset, comfortable in fast-moving entrepreneurial environment;• Strong ownership and attention to details;• Passion about improving both customer and seller experience;• Team spirit and enthusiasm about learning;Preferred qualifications:• Experience in merchandising, preferably working in a fast-paced environment eg tech startup, e-commerce or digital agency;• Experience in retail is an added advantage, either in retailer as brand principal/distributor;• Ability to translate analysis and insights into actionable strategy;• Excellent problem solving, project management and communication skills;
