Program Specialist II- BAS- NM
Honeywell Building Solutions (HBS) has an exciting opportunity for a Program Specialist II (Project Manager II). The successful candidate will leverage previous construction, project coordination, or engineering experience to support the execution of Building Automation Controls, Fire Alarm, Security, and integrated systems installations. You will coordinate project activities, support customer relationships, and help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. You will work in commercial environments (high-rise buildings, airports, corporate campuses) as well as institutional environments (schools, hospitals) in both new construction and retrofit projects.

As a Program Specialist II (Project Manager II) – Building Technology, you will support the planning, coordination, and execution of building technology projects. You will assist with project schedules, financial tracking, resource coordination, customer communication, and project documentation while working closely with senior project managers and cross-functional teams. You will report directly to the Program Manager and work out of our Albuquerque, New Mexico location on a Hybrid work schedule
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate the planning, execution, and delivery of building technology projects to meet customer expectations.
- Support project schedules, budgets, resource planning, and project documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and escalate issues to ensure timely resolution.
- Communicate project updates with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
- Assist with project closeout activities, including documentation, commissioning support, and customer handoff.
YOU MUST HAVE
- 2+ years of project management, project coordination, construction, or building automation experience.
- Experience coordinating multiple project activities, schedules, and customer communications.
- Basic understanding of project management principles, budgeting, and scheduling.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar).

- Experience supporting Building Automation Systems (BAS), Fire Alarm, Security, HVAC Controls, or construction projects.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills when working with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and continuous improvement practices is a plus.
